The Florida Courts Technology Commission (FCTC) was formed pursuant to Fla. R. Jud. Admin. 2.236 to oversee, manage, and direct the development and use of technology within the judicial branch.

The Appellate Court Technology Committee (ACTC) was established to provide technical guidance and consultation to the FCTC and the Office of the State Courts Administrator (OSCA) regarding information systems development and operational policies and procedures relating to automation in Florida's district courts of appeal.
